The SRT is 20 dB SPL. This list is considered an adult word list. The ASHA Spondees administration time is seven minutes.

The W-22 Form A, also known as the CID W-22, is a phonetically balanced test for word recognition (i.e. speech discrimination). This product includes all four lists of 50 words each (200 words total). The word lists are made up of consonant-nucleus (CN), nucleus-consonant (NC) and consonant-nucleus-consonant (CNC) words. The talker has a General American dialect. The articulation function is approximately 4% /dB. The W-22 administration time is 10-18 minutes.
