Auditec Auditory Test Rush Hughes, PAL Lists 9 – 12

The PAL Lists 9-12 (Rush Hughes)© get their name from Psycho-Acoustic Labratory (PAL). Rush Hughes is the talker. This recording represents one of the earliest attempts to develop a test of communication ability. Each word list contains 50 words.

This recording is somewhat noisy and is very difficult. (Better than 80% correct is within normal limits.)  It has been employed in central auditory processing assessments in addition to a word recognition test
