Auditec Auditory Test Speech In Noise, Spanish

The Spanish Speech In Noise© is an auditory processing disorder test. It requires recognition of monosyllables in the presence of white noise (at +10 dB and 0 dB signal-to-noise ratios). According to ASHA (1996), it fits the low redundancy monaural speech category.

The Spanish Speech In Noise test is part of the Santiago APD Battery. Auditec recommends purchasing the complete battery which includes a) Spanish-In-Noise, b) Spanish Binaural Fusion, c) Spanish Filtered Speech, and d) Spanish Dichotic Digits.
