Auditec Auditory Test Dichotic Digits, Spanish Version

Spanish Dichotic Digits© is an auditory processing disorder test. It requires the patient to repeat two pairs of digits which are presented simultaneously to both ears. It is in the dichotic speech category.

The Spanish Dichotic Digits test is part of the Santiago APD Battery. Auditec recommends purchasing the complete battery which includes a) Spanish-In-Noise, b) Spanish Binaural Fusion, c) Spanish Filtered Speech, and d) Spanish Dichotic Digits. However, Auditec has made single test in the battery available for purchase for those with budget restraints. The battery includes instructions in English and Spanish.

Spanish Dichotic Digits includes a) audio disc, and b) manual and score form as printable pdf files. The extensive manual is provided in both Spanish and English. It includes administration, scoring, and interpretation information. Normative data is included for adults only. It can be assumed children over the age of 12 will do as well (or nearly as well) as adults.
