Auditec Auditory Test Duration Pattern Sequence, Musiek Version

The Duration Pattern is an auditory processing disorder test. It is considered a temporal test using auditory pattern temporal ordering (APTO) and is sensitive to cortical lesions, interhemispheric transfer. The Duration Pattern – Musiek© version is a test by Dr. Frank Musiek. It is similar to the Duration Pattern Sequence standard version. Test administration is approximately six minutes.

Is the Musiek version or standard version better? Neither version is considered better. Both versions sell popularly and are widely used. Decisions are mainly based on which version the audiologist was originally trained in or by personal preference. Due to the similarities between the standard and Musiek versions, it is usually unnecessary to purchase both versions
